In this report, we'll walk you through the journey of a recent web development project. The goal was to create a user-friendly, visually appealing website for a small business called "Green Thumb Gardening," which specializes in selling plants and gardening tools. This project involved several stages, from planning to launch, and aimed to enhance the business’s online presence.

1. Wireframing

The UI/UX Designer created wireframes, which are basic blueprints of the website. These wireframes showed the layout of each page and how different elements like menus, images, and text would be arranged. This was important for visualizing the user experience before moving on to detailed design.

2. Design Mockups

Once the wireframes were approved, the designer created detailed mockups. These mockups included colors, fonts, and images to give a realistic preview of how the website would look. We made sure to use colors and images that reflected Green Thumb’s brand and made the site inviting.

3. Building Features

The following features were developed:

  • Product Pages: Detailed pages for each product, including images, descriptions, and prices.
  • Online Store: An e-commerce system that allows customers to add products to their cart and check out securely.
  • Blog: A section where the client can post gardening tips and news.
  • Contact Form: A form that allows visitors to get in touch with the client easily.

4. Mobile Responsiveness

We ensured the website looked good on all devices, from desktop computers to smartphones. This was crucial as many users shop and browse on their phones.
